Avon Corporation Ltd. - An ISO 9001:2008 Certified company, is a manufacturer of weighing scales under the “Avon” Brand such as - Mechanical Scale, Stylish Digital Glass Scale, Wooden Scale, Wireless Digital Glass Scale, Digital Super Slim Scale, Digital Body Fat Scale, Digital BMI Scale, Digital Body Analysis Scale, Ultra Slim Body Fat Scale, Digital Kitchen Scales, Digital Baby Scales, High Resolution Platform Scales, Ultra Low Profile Platform Scales, Weighbridges and Auto-Vibrator Feeder System with SQC which all are manufactured in our plant located at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. We also develop software’s like Body Composition Analyzer, Analytical balance, Precision balance, Moisture Balance and Pipette Calibration. We are also handling High end products for Body composition Analyzers & Blood pressure monitors and also for precision and reliability dealing in Laboratory balances (Analytical, Precision, Moisture Balance), Industrial balances, Test Weights and DKD Calibration. First-generation entrepreneur, Pankaj Saraiya, established Avon Enterprises (‘Avon’) in the year of 1995. Through years it went through name change representing companies plan of action, (Avon Weighing Systems Private Limited in the year 1999, Avon Weighing Systems Limited in the year 2004 and Avon Corporation Ltd. w.e.f. 14th October 2008). Company was listed with Bombay Stock Exchange on 3rd July 2008.

During its first year of operations Avon Enterprises was engaged in the dealership of Sartorius (Germany) range of weighing balances mainly used in Diamond industries. Sartorius is one of the largest manufacturers of various kinds of electronic weighing balances/systems in the world. In the beginning of 1996, Mr. Pankaj Saraiya met the representatives of A&D Company Japan (‘A&D’), who were looking to enter India. After the negotiations A&D saw great potential in the promoters of Avon (especially Mr. Pankaj Saraiya) and allotted its Indian Distributorship to Avon Enterprises. For the growth and advancement of technology in products, and due to availability in varieties of products, Avon has joined hands with Kern & Sohn GmbH, Germany. Currently Avon is authorized distributors of Kern & Sohn GmbH, Germany & Jawon Medical, Korea; products in India. |

In the 1st year Avon has reached a turnover of ` 26 Lakh (Year 1995-96) and within the period of Thirteen years Avon reached to a turnover of ` 73.59 Crores (Year 2008-09). |
